Saddam to be triumphant?

Despite many appeals to the UN Security Council for the peaceful disarmament of the Iraqi president, Bush, supported by Tony Blair, has continued to pound Iraq -- a country that has already been severely hit by the UN embargo -- with his most advanced weapons.

We see American armored columns and the forces of its allies crossing Kuwaiti borders without any resistance and thrusting deeper into the country. Many countries of the world are certain that the U.S. and its allies will be able to destroy Iraqi armed forces.

The question is: Will this mean that Bush wins and Saddam loses?

I have an answer: I'm not sure Saddam Hussein will be killed in this war, but rather he will come out triumphant, beating the healthy, vigorous Bush. And I'm also sure the civilized world will continue deploring Bush even after his death.
