S. Africa judge to address seminar

JAKARTA: South African Supreme Court Judge Fikile Bam will present his keynote speech in a seminar to commemorate the South African Human Rights Day here on Monday.

Another keynote speaker of the seminar will be Indonesian Minister of Justice Human and Rights Hamid Awaluddin.

The event's organizers have also arranged a session for an interactive discussion between Indonesian and South African judges.

Bam spent most of his career, which started in 1978, as an advocate until he was named head judge of the Land Claims Court in 1995. -- JP
