Rugby tourney held at ISCI sports club

JAKARTA: Rugby fans can head for some fun on Saturday for the
ISCI Rugby 10-a-side competition at the ISCI sports club in
Ciputat, South Jakarta.

Ten teams, including visiting squads from Hong Kong, Brunei,
Balikpapan and Papua as well as the Jakarta Japanese rugby club
and defending cup champion Jakarta International School, are
registered to compete for the cup, plate and Indonesian bowl
competitions, the organizers said in a statement.

Games are scheduled to start at 8 a.m.

Also scheduled to compete is a team from the Indonesian
Development Rugby, playing its debut match as it hopes to make
Indonesia an International Rugby Board country in the near
future.

A junior exhibition game, with players from age four to 15, is
also scheduled. -- JP
