Rude treatment

My friends and I went to BATS on Jan. 1, 2000, for a farewell party. We went through the car park entrance and paid the cover charge. Two of my friends had been drinking and took their beer cans into the bar with them with the full notice of the security guards. We thought there was nothing wrong as the security guards didn't stop them.

However, 15 minutes later the security men told my friends to throw away their beer cans. My friends agreed but left their cans on a bar table. Less than five minutes later they were told to see the BATS manager in charge. The manager, in a very impolite manner, told them to leave the bar and never come back.

I understood that my friends were wrong, but the way they were treated was totally rude. I think BATS should learn to treat the customers more respectfully.
