Roy to join ISG in France

SEMARANG (JP): Local motorcycle racer Roy Adrianto is to join
the ISG Endurance France. He received two invitations from the
manager Laurent Duhem, the first on July 21 and the second on
July 24.

"This is a golden opportunity and I won't waste it," he said
Saturday.

The invitation gives Roy plenty of time to prepare; the Le
Mans Motorcycle Race is scheduled for April 7 and 8, 2001 in
France.

"The race itself is quite difficult as it will go on for 24
hours," said Roy, who will ride Suzuki GSXR 750cc.

"This will be a new experience for me as I have only raced
250cc motorcycles. But I'm sure I can adapt to the bigger
machine." (har)
