Ronci tale

Whilst visiting your country again on a lengthy business trip, I read with some amazement correspondence generated by a "Piero Ronci." Coincidentally some years back, in the UK, an Italian battered fish exponent was in the habit of initiating correspondence in the North Wales Times under the name of Roi Porcine (anagram of Piero Ronci). He also used similar flowery language, with words and phrases such as "abstruse" and cuique suus, before emigrating to Indonesia.

It is highly probable that Piero Ronci is now "winding up" your readers. The clue being the last paragraph in his letter to The Jakarta Post headed Respecting others' opinions, wherein he expounds on the pronunciation of names. After all, Piero Ronci can be pronounced Pierrot Raunchy i.e. from the Oxford English Dictionary -- an "outspoken clown."
