Roll out the new car
LONDON: Rolls-Royce will unveil its first all-new sedan since 1980 at the Geneva motor show next month.
The US$216,000 Silver Seraph will replace the aging Silver Spur and will be powered by a BMW V12 engine.
This is the first Rolls-Royce to use a BMW engine since the two companies started a technical collaboration in 1994 and it will be the first V12 the car has had under the hood since 1935.
BMW is also still the favorite to buy the luxury British carmaker, which was put up for sale by its parent company Vickers, last year.
