Rodent trouble at Semarang council

SEMARANG: A rodent problem at the Berlian building on the premises of the provincial Council compound has become so serious that the Council's secretariat has issued an order to vacate the building for two days so that it can be fumigated.

The letter, signed by the head of the Council's Secretary for General Affairs Umbu Puda, was sent to all Council units and the Council's speakers, Antara reported.

The fumigation on Saturday and Sunday will involve all corners of the building, including drawers and cupboards.

Umbu also warned council staff to remove all important documents during the fumigation. (lup)
