Robbers steal Rp 3.2m in Menteng

JAKARTA: Two unidentified men stole a bag belonging to Tanti
Riana on Jl. Wahid Hasyim in Menteng, Central Jakarta, on
Thursday night.

The bag contained Rp 3.2 million (US$347.83) in cash. Police
said the suspects fled the scene on a motorbike.

Tanti, who lives on Jl. Rawa Selatan in West Jakarta, was
waiting for a bus when two men on a motorbike approached her and
grabbed her bag.

Menteng Police are investigating the case. -- JP
