Robbers sentenced to 13 years

BOGOR: Three defendants in the Rp 1.8 billion (US$180,000)
robbery of PT Great River Garment in Cibinong, Bogor, were given
sentences of three years to 13 years in jail on Monday.

Yustinus Lelatobur, 40, was sentenced to 13 years. Beni, alias
Deden Sunarya, 35, was sentenced also to 13 years while Adi Setio
Sukamto was sentenced to three years.

The three defendants were found guilty of robbery on Jl. Raya
Bogor Simpang Pomad, Kedunghalang Ciluar subdistrict, Bogor
regency, on Aug. 31, 2001.

A police officer, Brig. Sudiran, and a security officer, Edi
Supriatna, were shot dead during the robbery. -- JP
