Robbers kill for motorcycle

TANGERANG: Four robbers on two motorcycles shot and killed an ojek (motorcycle taxi) driver and stole his motorcycle near Larasati Hospital on Wednesday morning, police said.

Juki, 45, was shot in the head after refusing to hand over his motorcycle. He died on his way to hospital, Batuceper Police chief Adj. Comr. Hendro Subagyo said.

The four men are still at large.

Juki's wife, Erna, at the Tangerang General Hospital morgue to identify her husband's body, could not stop crying.

"We have five children and they still need a father to feed them and pay their school fees. But the robbers killed their father and took his motorcycle, the only source of income for our family."--JP
