Before the rainy season is here, it would be best if badly
damaged roads in the capital are repaired. Impaired roads in
several areas are just getting worse, and they are fast becoming
an eyesore to passersby.

As a Jakartan, I hope that the five Jakarta district
administrations will soon repair these roads, because it might
have a bearing on the coveted Adipura award for the best city
administration. This should go hand in hand with re-greening
efforts. Let Jakarta grow into a landscaped city, clean, pleasant
and secure.
