'Ritusamhara' at JIS

JAKARTA (JP): After the success of last month's Hindi play, the Jawaharlal Nehru Indian Cultural Centre plans to perform a music and drama extravaganza titled Ritusamhara on Dec. 15.

B.N. Reddy, the second secretary of the Indian embassy, said yesterday the event would start at 7:00 p.m at the Jakarta International School's Little Theater on Jl. Terogong Raya 33, Cilandak, South Jakarta.

Mrs. Hema Devare, wife of Ambassador Sudhir Tukaram Devare, is the producer.

"Ritusamhara is a Sanskrit word which mean Festival of Seasons. The art forms are dance, music and poetry," Reddy said. (sur)
