Rimo plans more retail outlets

JAKARTA (JP): Local department store chain PT Rimo Catur
Lestari will open new fashion outlets in Bandung, Surakarta,
Surabaya and Denpasar next month as part of its expansion plans.

The company's president George M. Harjani said on Tuesday that
the new outlets would carry the company's new Funky, Cool and
Chick brand names.

He said that the new outlet brands, which were first
introduced in its 260 square meter store at Taman Anggrek Mall in
West Jakarta, is especially designed to appeal to affluent young
people.

Rimo, one of the country's major retail chains, operates four
department stores in Jakarta, two in Surabaya, and three others
in Bandung, Bali and Surakarta.(hen)
