Rifts can exist in big country

I am writing in response to Mr. Imdad Hussain's letter of Sept. 30. Often, people reply to articles but after reading the above letter I was so embarrassed that I think Mr. Hussain did not reply to the article but only criticized India.

It is very much correct that Hindus never recognized the creation of Pakistan as an independent state because we (India and Pakistan) are from the one origin. Pakistan and India are two souls but one body. I would ask, which mother wants to separate her two sons? In the same way, the Indian motherland does not want to separate her two sons -- India and Pakistan.

Of course, India is the only country in the whole world which has lots of religions and so many languages that they cannot be counted on our fingers, but still, all these people with different religions and cultures are living together, having a single name on their tongue -- Indian. Everyone knows that in a small family, confusion may occur, so why not in such a big country. On the other hand, in Pakistan, there is only one religion -- Islam but still lots incidents happen. Why?

So we come to the main conclusion: that despite criticizing the countries, economy or any other facts, we must clear our hearts so that we can think for our bright future and countries respectively.
