Riau govt seeks Rp 2-3t budget

PEKANBARU, Riau: The Riau provincial government will propose a budget of between Rp 2 trillion and 3 trillion to the central government for 2005 to allow the province to build and improve infrastructure.

Most of the money will be earmarked for the construction of new roads and refurbishment of existing roads, according to Riau governor Rusli Zainal on Thursday.
