Riau gets a new bi-weekly

PEKANBARU, Riau: A new bi-weekly magazine called Tema (Theme)
is set to be launched here next month after it formally received
its publishing license from the Ministry of Information.

Hardianto said the permit was signed by Minister Muhammad Yunus
on July 31.

Upon handing over the permit, Hardianto called on the
publisher to exploit the press' newfound freedom "as well as
possible".

Tema chief editor Jupernalis Samosir said 5,000 copies would
be printed in its first edition, Antara reported. (aan)
