RI to host environmental summit

JAKARTA: Indonesia will host an international environmental conference with the theme: Sustainable Development Summit in Denpasar, Bali from May 27 through June 7, Minister of Environment Nabiel Makarim said on Thursday.

Nabiel refused to give any details about the summit as the minister and related institutions were still discussing preparations for the event.

The minister said around 6,000 delegates from 109 countries, along with their economic and environment ministers, would attend the summit. -- JP
