JAKARTA: Indonesia will host two ministerial meetings of the Asia-Europe meeting (ASEM) on the resort island of Bali in July, said Minister of Foreign Affairs Hassan Wirayuda on Thursday.

"We will host the meetings of foreign affairs ministers and economic ministers of ASEM member countries on July 24 and July 25," Hassan said at a media briefing.

He said that ministers from 14 member countries of the European Union, seven member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), along with China, Japan and South Korea, would attend the meeting.

"The two meetings are part of a series of international conferences slated to happen here as we are also going to host the Asia-Africa Subregional Organization Conference in Bandung on July 29," the minister said.--JP
