RI students win millennium awards

JAKARTA: Seven Indonesian students were among 2,000 winners of
Millennium Dreamers Awards across the world honored in a ceremony
at the Walt Disney Resorts in Orlando, Florida recently.

Assistant communications manager of McDonald's Indonesia Cepi
Husada said on Thursday the students, aged between 10 and 15
years old, were awarded for their distinguished school
achievements, extracurricular activities and social awareness.

The seven Indonesian students are Ayu Pratiwi of Al Azhar Jaka
Permai junior high school in Bekasi, West Java, Ferina Tjahjana
of Pelita Harapan elementary school in Tangerang, West Java,
Miranti Wulansari of the 102 state junior high school in Depok,
West Java, Wilona A. Gatraputri of Dian Didaktika elementary
school in Jakarta, Linda Lusiana of Bina Bakti II elementary
school in Bandung, West Java, Nindya Kirana of St. Joseph junior
high school in Madiun, East Java and A. Setia Nugraha of BOPKRI
elementary school in Yogyakarta.
