RI, M'sian universities sign cooperation deal

MEDAN, North Sumatra: The Tjut Nyak Dien University in North Sumatra province has signed a cooperation agreement with Malaysia's Universitas Utara Malaysia (UUM) to enhance the quality of university staff.

"The cooperation covers an exchange program for lecturers and students," Tjut Nyak Dien University acting rector Abu Bakar Karim said on Thursday.

The memorandum of understanding was signed recently in Kedah, Malaysia, he said. --Antara
