RI journalists to study in Manila

MANILA: Three Indonesians are among 11 Asian journalists who
have won scholarships from German foundation Konrad Adenaur
Stiftung, to pursue a master's degree in journalism at Ateneo de
Manila University in the coming academic year.

The selected Indonesian journalists are Akhmad Kusaeni from
Antara news agency, Masduki from Unisi radio in Yogyakarta and
Shita Laksmi from the Tifa Foundation, which develops community
newspapers and radios stations.

The program, to be completed within two years, will be done
via long distance learning over the internet for one semester and
studying in class in the remaining semesters. -- Antara
