RI forex reserves increase
JAKARTA (JP): Indonesia's net foreign exchange reserves rose US$88.7 million to $28.76 billion as of April 6 from $28.67 billion on March 30, according to Bank Indonesia.
The central bank said in its latest weekly report on Tuesday the rise was due to revenue from oil and gas exports.
The central bank also said the volume of primary money increased Rp 848 billion to Rp 104.10 trillion, partly the result of an increase in the cash supply and banks' deposits at the central bank.
The government's net account at the central bank also showed an increase of Rp 5.72 trillion, mostly from tax payments and receipts from oil sales.
