RI firms clinch $1.5m sales
JAKARTA (JP): Five Indonesian companies producing furniture and handicrafts, clinched sales worth around US$1.5 million in London during a gathering organized by the Indonesian Embassy on Wednesday.
The embassy said in a statement that the "One to One Business Meeting" on furniture and handicrafts saw the participation of 16 buyers from Britain and Ireland.
The five Indonesian companies that took part were PT Harco, PT Pandita Nusaindo, PT Citra Jepara, CV Wana Tirta Abadi and CV Tri Nindya, all based in Central Java.
The meeting, held at the London branch office of Bank BNI, is a strategy introduced by the embassy two years ago to help boost Indonesia's non-oil and gas exports. (02)
