RI cyclists eye 10 SEAG golds

JAKARTA (JP): Indonesia is targeting eight to 10 of the 16 gold medals on offer in this year's SEA Games (SEAG) cycling here, an official from the Indonesian Cycling Association said.

Soedijanto, the association's technical director said Monday, that in order to achieve this goal, the association is training 51 cyclists, including 10 women.

"Three cities have been chosen as training centers for the cyclists, Subang in West Java, Malang (East Java) and Yogyakarta. Apart from the training, the cyclists will take part in a number of competitions such as the Tour de Indonesia Jakarta-Bali, Tour of the Philippines in May and the Asian championships in Iran in June," Soedijanto said.
