Return to F1 for Lotus?

LONDON: The famous name of Lotus may return to the Formula 1 scene in 1999, according to owner David Hunt (the brother of 1976 world champion James).

Hunt is trying to convince Proton -- which owns the now unrelated Group Lotus -- which builds road cars, to support the venture.

A decision is expected soon on whether the once famed name appears on the grid again.
