Return my cell phone
My name is Daisy, and I am from Ghana. I have been in Jakarta for one month. I have a Nokia mobile phone.
On the night of Friday, Jan. 15, several people robbed me of my Nokia cellular phone in Mangga Besar. They had asked me to join them to go swimming. I did not really know these people but I took them to be Africans like me. The incident was the least I expected from my fellow Africans.
I picked a taxi and, on the way, one of them asked to use my phone to make a call. I gave it to him, but as soon as he had it he told the driver to stop. The driver did so, and the man jumped out and started running with the phone. People were looking at us.
I just want my phone back. I give them two more days to return it or else it will be a police case.
Thank you The Jakarta Post.
