Retail construction: Is business back?

Already bustling and dense Jakarta will soon see a number of new and modern retail centers break ground in the capital.

Cilandak, Senayan, Cempaka Putih, Kuningan, Permata Hijau and Kelapa Gading are indeed strategic areas for new retail centers.

But the big question is whether this construction blitz marks the revival of the retail sector and the strengthening of the people's purchasing power. Time shall tell.
