Resolve the PDI conflict

The conflict within the Indonesian Democratic Party (PDI) continues to rage until this day. Those who want to hold a congress and those who reject the idea compete to justify their respective stands.

Whether we want to admit it or not, the conflict within the PDI is distracting our attention away from development efforts. Political conflicts should not be resolved in a manner typical among hoodlums and, fortunately, it seems that both sides have been able to restrain themselves.

Nobody will emerge a winner if the conflict continues. In time, all the party members will realize that they have been used as a means to obtain a certain end.
