Report bad service or bribe

JAKARTA (JP): Governor Surjadi Soedirdja once again reminded the public over the weekend to report poor services or solicitation of bribes by municipal administration civil servants.

Speaking at a meeting with the Jakarta chapter of the Indonesian Young Businessmen's Association, the governor reiterated the importance of better services, including those for businessmen.

"Therefore, if businessmen find difficulties in processing any documents they need, they should not hesitate to report them to the governor's office," he said.

He also told them that they should bring with them supporting data or other material evidence.

He said that the reports are very useful for the city administration's efforts to improve its services to the public. (hhr)
