Remote sensing meeting at ITS

The Indonesian Remote Sensing Society (MAPIN) -- probably not
yet a household name -- will hold a national meeting and
exhibition from Aug. 14 to Aug. 15 at the 10 November Institute
of Technology (ITS) in Surabaya, East Java.

The meeting will focus on the latest remote sensing and
geographical information technologies and their potential
applications in Indonesia.

Several scientific papers will be presented by experts on
remote sensing technology, while the best two among the papers
will receive the Jacob Rais Award and the Soetanto Award,
respectively.
