Regent involved in brawl

BANDARLAMPUNG, Lampung: The Bandarlampung prosecutor's office
has demanded that local police name Tulangbawang Regent
Abdurahman Sarbini a suspect in a brawl involving his son.

Chief of the prosecutor's office Abdoel Taufiq said on
Saturday that witnesses had reportedly seen the regent assist his
son, Dodi, beat up Hari Kohar. Hari later reported the matter to
Bandarlampung police.

Police have thus far only named Dodi as a suspect, charging
him with assault.

The assault took place on March 12 when Dodi and Abdoel went
to Hari's office in Bandarlampung to protest the latter's reports
in local media concerning corruption in Tulangbawang regency. --
