Reform needed in every field

The era of the global village is already here. Country boundaries have as good as disappeared. What is required now is transparency. People should be able to see what their government is doing and the government should accommodate public aspirations. Such an exercise of mutual control without suspicion is quite normal. Any exercise of power without checks or balances can indeed be dangerous. In such a climate of mutual control, people can be given a greater opportunity to properly exercise their rights as human beings.

Renewal can create a new mood built on new foundations. Such a fresh climate can bring a renewed vigor, which in turn could lead to greater achievements. Because of this, no one would likely oppose the idea of renewal, even though it is carried out under a different name: reform. Without reform it would be as if we were walking stationary, there would be no progress.
