Reebok University to train instructors

JAKARTA (JP): Reebok University, a sport and fitness secondary educational institution, opened a training opportunity for Indonesian aerobic instructors to earn international acknowledgement from the American Council on Exercises and the Fitness Association of America (AFAA).

"After graduating from the university, the instructor will be able to train in fitness clubs all over the world," Turina Farouk, spokesperson for the university, said in a press release on Friday.

The training will be led by four Indonesian aerobic master trainers whose names would be announced in the near future. The so-called university is essentially an imaginative institution because the campus lies in the human body while the master trainers are the faculty.

Indonesian Reebok University is a branch from the same university in Boston, Massachusetts, which was set up in 1993. The university will start operating next year in Mega Gym Pasaraya in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. (ivy)
