HAVANA: Former world champion Niki Lauda has held discussions with a delegation from Cuba about the possibility of holding a Grand Prix around the streets of Havana.

As the tobacco sponsorship problem gets deeper in Europe, there is increasing pressure on the governing body to stage more races in countries which have no restrictions.

Asia is a logical area into which F1 could expand, although countries such as Malaysia and Indonesia could now be struggling because of economic problems.
