Real estate promotion
Citra Indah Kota Nuansa Alam Timur, a developer, was holding a promotion drive at Pondok Indah Mall from Nov. 25 to Dec. 8, 1996. The event involved children between the ages of 8 and 10. These children, who were dressed to look like flowers, handed out brochures and flowers to visitors. They worked until about 9 p.m.. Actually, they should have been at home at that particular time, to study or sleep.
Please, Citra Indah, don't you share the responsibility of taking care of the children's education?
Ciputra, a conglomerate who participates in an educational program through his Global Jaya School, was made a symbol in that real estate business promotion program. What an irony!
