'RCTI' faults Wimbledon

Thank you RCTI, you have done again. Thanks to the outstanding services rendered in broadcasting the two Wimbledon finals, your faithful audience did not have to sit through the first two sets of the lady's finals and was also lucky enough to miss the first set of the men's final.

True to your announcement, the broadcast came live from Wimbledon, which happens to be located in England where, as we all painfully had to learn, there is another hour to be added to the time difference as compared with other European countries. This phenomenon is called Greenwich Mean Time and has existed for quite some time already.

Or was the reason for the incomplete transmission an inadequate budget? In that case one should have warned the audience in advance as part of your allegedly improved service.

Linda Wahyudi's comments presented yet another highlight in this year's Wimbledon live transmission, apart from wasting even more time.
