I never fail to follow RCTI's Seputar Indonesia which presents
more interesting reports and information than those broadcast by
TVRI.

However, on July 7, 1994 RCTI broadcasted in this program a
report on the CGI (Consultative Group for Indonesia) meeting. It
began with showing the Eiffel Tower to inform the viewers that
the event was taking place in Paris. Then the camera was directed
to the building where the meeting was taking place. To my
astonishment, I saw the late Mr. Doddy Tisna Amidjaya, who was
ambassador to France, among the participants. This gave the
impression that the former ambassador is still active and
involved in discussing Indonesian debt.

I could not believe my eyes, how could the late ambassador
suddenly be alive. I felt as if I was dreaming.
