Raunchy ads
As a regular reader of your paper, I find the recent ads for Contiki Resort Bali (e.g. page 3 of the Nov. 10 issue) to be in very poor taste.
For a professional paper like yours to accept such raunchy advertisements lowers your status to that of a tabloid looking for a quick buck.
When I see these ads, I immediately become concerned that by chance my ever-curious kids might take a glance at them and ask me to explain.
I look forward to reading The Jakarta Post as a bit fresh air from other local papers that seem to have given up their principles with regards to the dignity of women for the sake of a quick profit.
