Ramayana opens new outlet

JAKARTA (JP): The publicly listed retail chain Ramayana Lestari Sentosa opened yesterday an 11,100 square meter outlet at the Plaza Jambu Dua shopping center in Bogor, West Java, an executive said.

Ramayana's public relations manager Setyadi Surya told Bisnis Indonesia daily in Bogor over the weekend the new department store, Ramayana's 57th outlet in the country, employed 450 people, most of them Bogor residents.

Setyadi said the development of many middle-class residential areas in and around Bogor made retail business in that town quite promising. (04)
