Rain puts damper on softball games
MANILA: Officials cancelled the first two games of softball, scheduled to open on Wednesday at the Rosario Sports Arena, due to an unplayable field.
Reports reaching the results and record committee of the Philippine Southeast Asian Games Organizing Committee (Philsoc) said a heavy downpour on Wednesday morning left the field too soggy for matches to be played, it was reported on the official Games website www.seagames.com.ph
The games between Indonesia and Malaysia, as well as the Philippines and Thailand, were rescheduled for Saturday. -- JP
