Ragunan has new collection

JAKARTA: A pair of panthers and a pair of bears have arrived safely at Ragunan Zoo in South Jakarta after a 3,300-kilometer trip from Sri Lanka aboard Emirates airlines.

Emirates spokesman John Rotikan said Thursday that the animals were sent recently through an exchange program involving the Dehiwala Zoo in Sri Lanka.

He said that the airline would fly a couple of orangutan to Sri Lanka in the near future.--Antara
