Radisson to open sales office
JAKARTA (JP) United States-based Radisson Hotels will soon open a regional sales office in Jakarta to coordinate the marketing of its Indonesian hotels, Antara news agency reported.
Richard Boustead, Radisson's director of operations in Indonesia, said in Bali on Thursday the opening of the sales office indicated the hotel chain's commitment to boosting its presence in the country.
The hotel chain, which manages several star-rated hotels in the country, including three hotels in Surabaya, Purwakarta and Yogyakarta, respectively, and two hotels on the resort island of Bali.
Speaking to reporters following the unveiling of the company's new corporate logo, Boustead said the hotel chain, which operates 400 star-rated hotels in some 53 countries, also planned to strengthen its operations in other countries in the Asia-Pacific region.(hen)
