The Economic and Social Research, Education and Information
Institute (LP3ES) has challenged all parties to verify the
quick-count method it is using to determine the results of the
July 5 presidential election.

Those doubting this method should point out where the error in
it lies.

The quick count method has been adopted by Indonesia's young
researchers, and they are always ready to put at stake their
credibility in this respect.

It is really a shame that many high-ranking officials and
national figures have acted as though they do not have a grasp of
a scientific approach regarding this quick-count method, simply
because the estimated result through this method is not to their
liking.
