Qantas offers free trip

JAKARTA (JP): Qantas Airways is offering a free domestic connecting flight in Australia to each passenger holding roundtrip tickets from Jakarta to one of three Australian cities between July 1 and Aug. 31.

The offer is valid for passengers who travel on Sundays, Mondays or Tuesdays to Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, the company announced on Tuesday.

"With one return ticket from Jakarta to either Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, passengers can then visit one of those cities at no extra flight cost," company sales manager for Indonesia Ronny Mampouw said.

The Australian airline began services to Jakarta in April 1950.

Qantas flies direct flights six times a week from Jakarta to Sydney, with connecting flights to Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. (udi)
