Puskesmas fee to increase 7 fold

YOGYAKARTA: Yogyakarta Municipal Health Office plans to raise
the administrative fee at community health centers (Puskesmas) in
the city, in a bid to improve services to the public, an official
said on Wednesday.

The fee will be raised seven fold to Rp 4,000 from the current
Rp 600, said Wulaningsih, the head of the disease prevention and
health promotion section at the health office.

The new fee, which is expected to take effect next year, will
be proposed to the Yogyakarta Municipal Council for
consideration. -- JP
