Puryanti wins Ladies Open

JAKARTA (JP): Titi Puryanti won the 19th Indonesian Ladies Amateur Open Golf Championships at the Jagorawi Golf and Country Club in Cibinong, West Java, Thursday.

Puryanti scored 224, just ahead of the 1993 and 1994 champions, Retno Mustari and Ani Iman, who are both in the national team.

Puryanti, the 1992 winner, led from the first day and remained consistent until the final. "I trained hard to improve my consistency since joining the national training camp in March," said the 21-year-old. (arf)
