Puncak packed with visitors

BOGOR: The road along Cisarua and the hilly Puncak area in
Bogor regency was jammed by travelers who visited recreation
sites on the day after Christmas on Thursday.

Vehicles were seen moving bumper to bumper along the road
toward Puncak, but the traffic flowed smoothly in the direction
of Jakarta, Antara reported.

Traffic jams occurred, mostly, at Cisarua market, on the road
to Leuwimalang and Megamendung intersection, mostly, due to the
big tourist buses that passed along the road.

A similar sight was also seen during the Idul Fitri holiday.

Most of the holidaymakers visited Taman Safari Park in
Cisarua, the Cibodas National Park in Cipanas and other
recreation places.

Although the area was blanketed by clouds and rainfall since
noon, it did not distract the holidaymakers from enjoying their
leisure time.--JP
