Public minivan driver robbed

JAKARTA: Having worked overnight, Magri, 30, a public minivan driver was robbed of his hard-earned money.

At around 3 a.m. on Saturday, three unidentified passengers got in Magri's minivan, which was heading for Cipondoh, Tangerang. But, when they arrived at Jl. Ketapang, they suddenly threatened Magri with sickles and demanded his money.

A frightened Magri was forced to hand over his overnight earnings of about Rp 100,000. The robbers managed to escape, an officer at the city information center said.--JP
