PT Indoprom apologizes

After carefully reading the letter from Mr. Peter Ward (The Jakarta Post, July 17, 2001, Indoprom did not contact me), we must conclude that this problem has occurred due to a miscommunication between Mr. Peter Ward and Indoprom.

As the head of the subscription division, I do not personally handle the complaints of our subscribers, leaving this task to my subordinates. However, as their manager I am fully responsible for all of their actions. For this reason, I have written to the Post on behalf of my company in response to the letter from Mr. Peter Ward. What I intended to say in my previous letter was that we at Indoprom had personally contacted Mr. Peter Ward through mail and telephone, not that I had made the contact myself.

In any case, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by this minor miscommunication.
